Q. What have been the investments by Aircel in CSR initiatives especially related to ‘Save Our Tigers’?
Ans. Aircel is a committed company and has been supporting and implementing impactful projects as per our CSR mandate since 2008. Our Save Our Tigers campaign has been successful in driving awareness to the tiger conservation. All our CSR projects have been performing extremely well and yielding high results. Aircel is providing the necessary resources and support to run these programs.
Q. What kind of support is Aircel providing for Kids for Tigers program?
Ans. Aircel isn’t being benevolent when it works towards ‘Save Our Tigers’. Apart from funding such projects, we are actively involved in the work at the ground level as well. Right from the inception of each of our CSR initiatives till its implementation, evaluation and review, Aircel is involved at each step, therefore our role moves much beyond philanthropy.

Ans. Aircel is committed to reach out to various tiger reserves in the coming years and creating more on ground impact.
Q. What is the status on the partnership between Aircel and NDTV for ‘Save Our Tigers’?
Ans. Aircel has partnered with NDTV since 2010 and has already raised over 10 Crs in the last 2 years from the telethons held. These proceeds have gone towards on ground work supported by the Wildlife Conservation Trust and other NGO’s. Aircel has recently launched the 3rd season with NDTV .

Ans. At Aircel, CSR is aimed at the larger good of the society we all operate in. Aircel has been supporting and promoting various issues relating to environment, education, sports, arts & culture.
Q. These days most corporates are involving their employees at the execution stage of their CSR initiatives. What is Aircel doing about the same?
Ans. The Aircel family feels strongly about all our CSR initiatives and we are all very proud of the work we have so far done in this field. All Aircel employees are kept informed about the developments on each of these projects and any contribution from their end is welcomed.
Q. Being a telecom operator, many people may believe that there is strong disconnect when you work towards tiger conservation. How does Aircel counter that?
Ans. We feel strongly about our rich bio-diversity and natural capital and ‘Save Our Tigers’ is a cause that talks about our national animal who is also an indicator species- the top predator of our jungles and forests. Saving our Tigers ensures a secure future for mankind also, as this would secure our forests and jungles with the hundreds of other creatures living in them along with preserving some of our purest sources of water, as six hundred of our rivers, big and small, originate in our forests. Today, the cause has cut across all segments and we have been able to garner huge support towards the same.

Ans. Aircel has been supporting and implementing impactful projects as per our CSR mandate since 2008.
Q. Aircel has been associated with ‘Save Our Tigers’ since 2008. Does it wish to take up a different project now or in the near future?
Ans. Aircel is deeply committed to this cause and we believe in it very strongly. We also run a parallel project – Aircel a+. Our a+ centers across the country provide education to the under privileged with an aim to bridge the huge digital divide in the country.
