CAF India Give2Asia Media Fellowship Program
All the journalists who have the zeal to highlight development stories as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) especially in the rural/tribal and conflict areas can now be a part of CAF India’s unique CSR Media Fellowship Program.
About the program
The fellowship will provide a learning opportunity for all the journalists to experience the social, economic and cultural life of rural disadvantaged communities and reflect the CSR project as perceived by the community and other stake holders. The work is expected to create an impact by bringing desired change in the issues that are highlighted. Media fellows will represent their work in both print and digital media forums and cover stories related to CSR advisory, NGO validation services as well as stories on payroll giving programs and other ongoing giving campaigns. The write-ups by media fellows are expected to create an enabling environment in the CSR space and sensitize stakeholders on various dimensions of CSR activities.
The fellowship will commence with an introductory workshop to help the participants understand the program’s purpose and seek advice from established media journalists on covering stories related to CSR and development work.
What you fellows gain?
The program will hone the skills of the fellows to represent their work on CSR issues and charities life changing work in both digital and print media. Fellows will be given an award and a certificate of appreciation during a special event organized by CAF India.
Duration of the media fellowship will be two months.
