Our education portfolio has five components: women’s representation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education, harnessing child potential through joyful learning, fostering enablers for sound early childhood development, ensuring inclusion of marginalized students and infrastructure strengthening.

In the current year, we have implemented around 11 programmes along with our partners across these areas. We are also supporting 100 Government Schools across 5 districts of UP, with the ‘Mobile Science Labs & Library’ in situ instructional mode. We have also been able to set up 5 STEM labs. One of the projects is emerging as a model in promoting girls for a career in science and technology in 3 government schools in Southern India
The project focusses on supporting school girls in taking up science subjects and pursue a career in STEM education. This is done through providing mentoring support, remedial education and awarding scholarships to girls from under-privileged families.
Geographical Coverage: Delhi and Bangalore
Target population: Girl students of classes XI and XII from under-privileged families.
People Coverage: 200 girl students of classes XI and XII in Delhi and 100 girl students of classes XI and XII in Bangalore.

In this project, girl students pursuing engineering course are supported through awarding annual scholarships and mentoring support.
Geographical Coverage: Pan India
Target population: Girl students pursuing engineering course from under-privileged families.Â
People Coverage: 150 girl students (50 girls annually) studying in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of engineering course.

The project focusses on harnessing potential through inculcating curiosity, inquisitiveness and knowledge of children. The approach is through setting up mobile science vans, providing mentoring support through an experimental and activity based learning, capacity building of the teachers and developing a peer based learning model for ensuring sustainability of this model.
Geographical Coverage: 5 districts of Uttar Pradesh
Target population: Government school students of classes VI to VIII.
People Coverage: The project covers 92 schools.

This project provides educational support to children in the form of bridge classes to enable better understanding and grasp of the school subjects. The project also brings under its fold drop-out children and children who are in need of additional guidance after the school hours. The subjects are taught in a friendly and interesting manner to foster interest and curiosity in learning.
