The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) was first introduced in the year 1976. This Act was amended during the year 2010. As per the amended FCRA 2010, all the establishments registered under the FCRA with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, are required to publish the summary data on the funds received from the foreign sources on the public domain.
