The Changemakers in association with CNBC TV 18 supported by CAF India

The Changemakers – TV documentary series is a unique platform that puts the spotlight on some of the most effective and impactful CSR initiatives taken by companies / NGOs / Philanthropists in India. Spread across (over) 20 episodes, each episode will showcase the exemplary work done by these organizations across the CSR space and how it has impacted the lives of people. These documentaries will Recognize, Celebrate and Showcase the fantastic work done by them across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Union Nation’s charter.

The feature would not only cover the leadership team driving these initiatives but also those people who are working on it and those being impacted by it at ground zero where the actual work is happening. It will also give us a sneak peek into the future plans of these organizations and how they intend to take their work to the Next Orbit of Growth & Transformation. The Changemakers would be on-air from mid November 2019 to end of March 2020 and would be promoted across platforms- television and digital.

CALL TO ACTION: At the end of each episode, there will be an opportunity for citizens to donate* towards the SDG/cause of their choice. We call upon citizens to join the movement and contribute towards the SDG they care about and help achieve a better and sustainable future for all.

Sustainable Development Goals

In September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Building on the principle of “leaving no one behind”, the new agenda emphasizes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all.
