Our journey through 2014/15 has been rewarding and impactful. India is poised to witness unprecedented growth and interest in CSR since the government, NGOs and corporates are aligning their strategies to achieve the larger goal of nation-building.

For more than 17 years, CAF India has been working to promote strategic giving for a more equitable and sustainable society. The amendment to the Companies Act, 2013 has strengthened our belief in building a nation motivated to give more effectively. This will come as a much-needed boon for the not-for-proft sector and the underprivileged sections of society.

We have been developing and delivering some powerful projects through our well-designed CSR framework. But as we enter the new financial year, there are some great lessons to take forward. We are fortunate to have corporate partners who share our vision and are committed to make a difference in the lives of the people through their philanthropic and CSR investments.

CAF India has already made a qualitative difference to the lives of beneficiaries through the various CSR programmes that we are managing with the support of our partners. We witnessed a growth rate of 92% last financial year and this year, we hope to further develop the culture of giving in our country. To make online donations more convenient for the internet-savvy population, we are working to develop an innovative online giving platform which we plan to launch shortly.

We aspire to touch many more lives and communities in the new financial year and beyond. In fact, the satisfaction that we derive from doing our bit to transform society gives us the impetus to take 'giving' further, with renewed energy in 2015.

CAF India along with its corporate partners has created some of the most impactful programmes that have transformed the lives of individuals and communities. While we continue to enjoy the trust of our donors / partners to execute projects across India, our recent partnerships will only strengthen our mission of promoting and supporting strategic giving for a more equitable and sustainable society. Resource Mobilisation for Herbalife

We have been managing various programmes for Herbalife in the areas of sanitation, hygiene, infrastructure and education for schools. Apart from managing their projects, we also help them raise funds for Herbalife Casa Friends, which are used for improving the lives of children in need. Recently, we also helped Herbalife host a dinner extravaganza. The funds collected from this fundraiser dinner will go towards supporting the nutritional requirements of malnourished children.

Right to Sanitation

We are thankful to our corporate partners and individual donors for contributing to our Right to Sanitation campaign, which goes beyond building toilets in schools and households. CAF India believes that every individual has the right to a healthier life. All our partners, including Herbalife, AON, Microsoft India and Kohler support our plan to implement this holistic nationwide campaign in a phased manner, which will make a visible impact on the lives of children and communities across India.
